Pipevine Swallowtail 2/10/13

Dan spotted these two while we were out exploring the backyard. It pleases my heart to see the butterflies making a return even though a false spring has occurred. The temperature went down to freezing on the 12th/13th of February. There was evidence of ice and frost when Dan left for work early in the morning. I just hope that it did not harm the growing wildflowers and existing beneficial critters.
