Macro Monday {Monster!}

I believe this is a bee fly {Bombyliidae}.

I do not know the exact what species though and I do not have the inclination to do research. It is bad enough I adore butterflies and wildflowers to the point I have to know at least their common names. I do not need to get into other insects.
