This ...Oh honey I wish so much I could be with you. This is the stuff God designed me for. Ive dealt with my folks and others in hospitals or rehabs enough to be "experienced" and I would tend to everything from your mommas physical needs to chewing out the staff. If I didn't have my own physical & lifestyle restraints I'd be working with special needs patients full time. I will be praying this wholesistuation up for you both. Hang in there, I love you!FlakyLMDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12710799661772244506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401071586162579142.post-26965773908602594802010-02-20T06:07:56.841-08:002010-02-20T06:07:56.841-08:00I am appalled at how the "rehibilitation"...I am appalled at how the "rehibilitation" centers are handling all of our older folks. I have worked with the elderly and I can tell you that if I were there, things would be done "chop, chop". I have no problem helping my clients take their meds or with bathing them. They should be putting either/or/and a lotion and powder with zinc in it for her rash in her folds. They might even try a bandage of some sort. It will only get worse if they don't. <br />The problem with these places is that a lot of the people(workers) there figure they are going to die anyways so what the heck. Just keep them comfortable. I disagree but who am I? It would sound like it is time for a family member to get a little nasty with them. In a nice way of course.Rhettanoreply@blogger.com
